This Privacy Policy explains what information Vanilla VPN ("we", "us") collects when you use the Vanilla VPN Android app (package com.vanilavpn.app) and this website, why we collect it, and what rights you have.

In short: we do not log your browsing history, the websites you visit, your DNS queries or the content of your traffic. We only keep what is needed to run your account (such as your email).

1. Information we collect

App version and last active time	For app updates, abuse prevention and improving the service
Push notification token	To send update and offer notifications (you can turn these off in your phone settings)
Advertising ID (free users only)	To show ads through Google AdMob. Premium users do not see ads

2. Information we do NOT collect

Your browsing history or which websites and apps you use
The content of traffic that passes through the VPN
Your DNS queries
We do not store your real IP address together with your VPN sessions

3. Important information about third-party servers

Some free servers are provided by partner and volunteer VPN networks that are operated by third parties, not by us. These operators may have their own logging policies. For sensitive tasks we recommend using the Premium servers. A VPN does not make you completely anonymous on the internet.

4. Third-party services

The app uses the following services, each with its own privacy policy:

Google Firebase (Authentication, Cloud Messaging)
Google Play Billing (subscriptions)
Google AdMob (ads)

5. How long we keep data

Account data is kept for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, we remove your account data within 7 days. Contact form messages may be kept for up to 12 months.

You can ask to access, correct or delete your data

You can turn off notifications and personalized ads in your phone settings

7. Children

Vanilla VPN is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

8. Security

We use HTTPS and secure sign-in (Firebase). However, no system on the internet is 100% secure.

We may update this policy from time to time. We will let you know in the app or on this website about significant changes.
